What is the Creative Croods design retainer?
The design retainer is a fixed $2,900/month engagement for senior design and frontend work. You submit unlimited requests one at a time, receive 24-48 hour average turnaround, and work directly with the founder. Full source files and ownership are included.
What’s included in the retainer?
UI/UX design, design systems, component libraries, and production-ready React/Next.js. You also get direct communication, clear timelines, and the ability to pause or cancel anytime.
Is there a minimum commitment?
No. You can pause or cancel the retainer at any time. Billing is monthly in advance.
How fast do you deliver?
Average turnaround is 24-48 hours for most requests. Larger pieces of work are scoped with clear deadlines before work begins.
Do you write code or only design?
Both. We deliver design in Figma and production-ready frontend in React/Next.js so what you see can actually ship.
Who will I work with?
You work directly with the founder. There are no account managers and no junior designers handed your project.
Can I pause the retainer?
Yes. You can pause whenever you need to and resume later. You only pay for active months.
What if I only need a one-off project?
We also take fixed-scope projects. Book a short call, share the brief, and we’ll give you a clear price and timeline.
Who owns the files and code?
You do. Full source files, design files, and code ownership transfer to you.
How is this different from a traditional agency?
No layers, no juniors by default, published pricing, and frontend included. You talk to the person doing the work.
What tools do you use?
Figma for design. React and Next.js for frontend. Communication stays simple through a shared queue and direct messages.
